AMEER HAMZAH
Ameer Hamzah
Ameer Hamzah is an actor, host & model. He's a Singaporean-born Indian and an alumni of Ngee Ann Polytechnic's School of Film & Media Studies (FMS).
He's an ex-DJ and Programme Manager of Radio Heatwave, his campus radio station and a former host on national radio for Lush 99.5FM (Lush Loves Local) and an avid host, as his portfolio dictates.

Even in his tenure as a police officer from 2017-2022, he continued to avidly host organisation-wide events, hosting back to back SPF Promotions Ceremonies in 2018 & 2019, and the inaugural APD Virtual Appreciation Night in 2021 & 2022.
​
He has also hosted many large-scale events, with SHINEFest 2016, *SCAPE Invasion & Xbox Live Showcase SG being some career highlights.
​
This is just the tip of the iceberg in his portoflio, and he hopes to continue adding marquee events to that list.

APD Annual Virtual Appreciation Night
Host - February 2021 & 2022
The novel edition of APD VAAN had been set up as a way to still allow valued members of the Airport community to gather and be appreciated despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
​
Hosted virtually through the medium of a livestream, the event was a success with members of the Airport community lauding the well-designed and professionally executed event
Xbox Live Showcase
Host - September 2016
Xbox Showcase Live was Xbox Asia's first livestream event in the wake of E3 2016's announcements that shook the gaming world, including the reveal for Gears Of War 4 and the new Xbox One S. Interviewed Xbox Asia head Barry Wee.

Hosted the Lush Loves Local chart show with Lush Programme Director Vanessa Fernandez across 15 weeks, covering various gigs and local music news during my segment.
Met and interviewed acts such as M83 and The Sam Willows.

SHINE Festival
Emcee - July 2016
SHINE Fest 2016 was Singapore's premiere youth centric festival for youths, by youths. Featuring international acts such as Jay Park down to local acts like Gentle Bones and Tabitha Nauser, and showcasing talents across Singapore's youth spectrum, SHINE Festival 2016 was a massive 3 day event that saw crowds people marvelling at the talents of the youth today.
SPF Promotion Ceremony Awards
Host - May 2018 & 2019
As a newly deployed man in blue, I took on the task of putting my talents on a microphone to good use by hosting the Singapore Police Force Promotion Ceremony Awards, attended by Guest of Honour Commissioner of Police, Hoong Wee Teck. Did well enough that they called me again next year too.
